For more information, see How It Works Below In the event an intrusion passes the cameras field of view at the secure location, an alert is sent through the DVR (Digital Video Recorder) at that location to the central monitoring station. The Central Monitoring Station software was developed so that when this activity takes place, the monitoring operator is alerted by way of an icon placed on a map of the cameras exact location. The icon begins flashing and an alarm is sounded. The operator clicks the flashing icon and live view from the source is displayed on the live view monitor at the Central Monitoring Station. If it is a false alarm, the operator does not report it, but they will stay on live view for a period of time to confirm that it is indeed a false alarm. If there is criminal activity in process, the operator will contact the pre assigned authority to advise of the situation. The operator can open up a 2 way audio to advise the intruder that they are being monitored and recorded and the authorities have been notified. The central monitoring station will be recording the event for review.

The cameras can be positioned so the field of view is covering windows, doors, vehicles, yards, out buildings and garages. Once an intrusion passes the cameras field of view, an alert is sent to the Central Monitoring Station, the operator then goes to live view to assess the intrusion. This gives you peace of mind knowing that a possible intrusion is prevented before the intruder can enter your premises, vandalize your property or commit any other crime. You and your family can rest assured knowing that we are monitoring activity outside your property while you are asleep or away.

With a VISUALLY verified alarm system, our monitoring station operators can connect to your site upon receiving an alarm and gain access to full live video. We can SEE what triggered the alarm and respond accordingly. This means a higher priority dispatch from the police because the alarm is verified.
Another useful benefit of a visually verified alarm system is that during the work day the system is yours to control. This feature can be used to identify employees who may be involved in internal theft, and even something as simple as discover where they set something down if they are having trouble finding it.
